What is BAC Water?

Bacteriostatic Water (commonly known as BAC Water) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic water that contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It is designed for diluting or dissolving research peptides, hormones, and other laboratory compounds prior to use in controlled scientific or analytical settings.

The added benzyl alcohol acts as a bacteriostatic agent, meaning it inhibits the growth of bacteria, allowing the solution to remain stable and sterile for multiple uses within 28 days after first entry.
